How ZumbaCards Battles Work

Card battles are the loyalty engine of this platform dressed up as a game. They resolve automatically — you do not play them, you field a deck and read the result — and what they actually produce is XP, which unlocks box discounts of up to 50%. That discount is the single largest saving available on ZumbaCards, larger than any promotion it runs.

Three daily tournament cards: one labelled OPEN with a cutoff countdown and a Join and play button, one RUNNING with a live timer and 500 participants, and one ENDED with a See Results button. Each shows Play and earn 5 XP.

What decides a round

Each card carries two stats: Power and Speed. Speed determines which card strikes first in an exchange, and Power determines how much that strike does. Because a battle is decided on the first side to win 3 of 5 rounds, striking first compounds — a card that consistently opens the exchange converts a marginal Power deficit into a round win more often than the raw numbers suggest.

That is the whole strategic surface. There are no abilities, no card synergies and no decisions during a battle. Which makes the deck-building question narrow and answerable: how to build a deck.

The battles cost nothing to enter

Your deck is entered automatically and earns 5 XP a day whether it wins or not. Bronze, at 30% off every box, is about fifty days away.
